ALVA is a furniture and objects design studio founded by siblings Susana Bastos, an artist and stylist, and Marcelo Alvarenga, an architect. Their projects stem from the fusion of these two perspectives, the architectural and the artistic, going beyond the usual rationality and functionality to seek the unusual, new uses, and expressive materiality.
