About Artekura
I’m Ariel, a proud product of two distinct yet harmoniously intertwined lineages—architects and designers on one side, healers and nurturers on the other. This unique heritage has profoundly shaped my professional ethos, instilling a deep appreciation for both the structural beauty of spaces and the nurturing qualities of wellness. Inspired by my father’s passion for architecture and my mother’s gift for healing, I have dedicated my career to bridging these two worlds, offering a holistic vision of balance and harmony that enhances the lives of others.
My professional foundation began in Brazil, where I studied architecture from 2001 to 2005, mastering the art and science of creating enduring and inspiring spaces. After moving to the United States at the age of 20, I expanded my horizons, exploring real estate while intensively studying healing practices between 2005 and 2014. This path led me to certifications as a yoga teacher across multiple disciplines and as an integrative health coach, launching a new phase in my profession to empower others to cultivate well-being in their lives. Since 2014, I have devoted myself to fostering conscious, healthy lifestyles through my work, both individually and collectively.
A pivotal evolution in my mind-body expertise occurred when I discovered the Alexander Technique in 2016. This practice revealed the transformative potential of living fully present in both body and mind through conscious and constructive action. My advanced training included pivotal periods in Miami (2016-2017), at New York City’s Balance Arts Center (2017–2020), and in Brazil (2021–2025), where I refined my knowledge and began teaching others to embody mindfulness and poise in their daily lives.
Simultaneously, my time in Brazil reignited a connection to my architectural roots and inspired the launch of Artekura in 2023. This furniture brand blends design with nature, offering handcrafted pieces made from responsibly sourced materials like wood and stone. Each piece embodies a philosophy of thoughtful craftsmanship, intentionally bringing the natural world's vitality into our homes. Through Artekura, I strive to create designs that are not just functional but also restorative and grounding.
At the core of my work—whether through my healing practices or as the founder of Artekura—is the belief that the body serves as the first home for our soul, while our physical surroundings form the sanctuaries that nurture and reflect our inner lives. When these two homes exist in harmony, they nurture balance and well-being. Today, I am honored to lead teams and work with individuals who share my vision of a more integrated, beautiful, and balanced existence—both within ourselves and in the spaces we inhabit.
