Mel Dining Table
Dedicated to Melina, the table draws inspiration from the fluidity of honey, with an elliptical tabletop and rounded corners that rise above an organic, undulating, and asymmetrical base. As you walk around the table, the form seems to flow from one side to the other, reminiscent of the movement of honey. Made of muiracatiara wood, it is constructed using the strip planking technique, commonly used in canoe building, with strips featuring semicircular notches that curve and connect, creating a smooth and durable surface.
