This collection of marble pieces, designed by Salvador and Enzo Compañ, is sculpted by Taller Téllez in the town of Tecali (which means “stone house” in the Náhuatl language of the region), in the state of Puebla. With the help of a hammer, chisel, and grinder, each Artefact is shaped by hand.
The pieces can be replicated; however, due to the wide variety of vein patterns, colors, and textures in marble—and the fact that each piece is handmade without the use of molds—the final results are completely unique.
