Inspired by the classic Adirondack chair, this piece was designed for a residence in Healdsburg, California, based on an abstraction of its original form, reduced to intersecting prisms and cylinders.
Crafted from Huanacaxtle wood, native to southeastern Mexico, the chair incorporates leather in the seat, suspended by straps and buckles, as well as in the headrest. Part of its structural solutions emerged through collaboration with master carpenters and upholsterers during the workshop process.
