Abitante is a Mexican design studio founded by Ana Tron that creates art objects with the maximum sensory impact and the minimum environmental impact, treating sustainability as an obligation. The philosophy is to focus on "fewer and better things" and to recognize that "EVERYTHING is connected". The studio uses recycled materials (paper, plastic, textile waste) and recovered bases. The core process involves creating a pulp from shredded and soaked discarded paper, using reused water, which is molded onto pre-existing bases and, after drying, receives the finish and, if necessary, a layer of epoxy resin for waterproofing.
