Product Responsibility
At Artekura, we are committed to providing high quality pieces to our customers. Our designers are responsible for ensuring that their products meet our standards and are responsible for all information, photographs, measurements and descriptions related to their products.
We strive to provide our customers with accurate and transparent information about each product. However, if discrepancies or problems arise with a product, we encourage our customers to contact us immediately at concierge@artekura.com.
We take full responsibility for the products sold on our platform and are committed to ensuring that our customers have a positive shopping experience with us.
Prices & Taxes
At Artekura, we understand that shipping internationally can be a complex process. To simplify the process for our customers, we offer worldwide shipping for all of our products. However, it's important to note that additional customs and import duties may apply depending on the final shipping destination.
For customers looking to ship to the United States, all customs and import duties are already included in the price of the item. This means there are no additional fees to be paid to receive the product.
For all other international orders, the customer is responsible for any additional customs and import duties that may apply. These fees are imposed by the destination country, and Artekura has no control over their amount or frequency. We recommend that our customers contact their local customs office or tax authority to determine what these additional fees may be.
In the event that additional fees are incurred, the customer is responsible for paying them upon delivery of the item. These fees are not included in the price of the item or in the cost of shipping.
Please note that Artekura works with international shipping partners to ensure timely delivery of our products. Although we strive to ensure that packages arrive in a timely fashion, we cannot be held responsible for delays caused by customs or other legal issues.
In summary, for customers shipping to the United States, all customs and import duties are already included in the price of the item. For international orders shipping to other parts of the world, additional fees may apply and the customer is responsible for paying them. Purchase
All purchases of design pieces from Artekura can be made by any natural or legal person legally entitled to enter into such agreements, with a valid payment method and delivery address. The buyer completes the purchase by clicking on the "buy" button. The price of the piece, including shipping costs, will be charged immediately after the buyer clicks "buy". Artekura accepts credit card payments from all major vendors, including VISA, Mastercard, and AMEX.
Delivery
The shipping provider of Artekura will deliver the design piece(s) to the address given by the buyer within the time frame given under the shipping information of the piece.
The buyer must ensure that the address of delivery is correct and that it is possible to deliver during business hours.
In the case of extra costs for attempted delivery or similar, the customer must cover the full amount of the extra costs.
The time of delivery may depend on, and be made impossible by, external factors; force Majeure, strikes, postal delays, and other extraordinary circumstances.
Parts Damaged During Shipment
It is the buyer's responsibility to inspect the condition of the design piece upon delivery. If a piece is damaged, the buyer must contact Artekura within three days of receiving the piece by sending an email to concierge@artekura.com. The email must include the order number, contact details, delivery date, information about the damage, the name of the design piece, a photograph of the damage and the condition of the inner and outer packaging.
During shipping, all parts are covered by insurance. Damage inflicted during shipping will therefore never be the responsibility of the buyer. If the damage has clearly occurred due to a defective produced part or insufficient packaging, the designer will bear the costs of return and repair. If the damage has clearly occurred during shipping, despite sufficient packaging, the insurance or Artekura will assume the costs of return and repair. It is, however, crucial that the buyer contact Artekura within three days of receiving the piece, with photographs clearly documenting the damage and the condition of the inner and outer packaging.
If a piece is damaged upon delivery, the buyer has the right to have it repaired, receive a new design piece, or cancel the purchase for a full refund of the total cost.
Returns
Returns are handled according to the laws in effect in the jurisdiction of the state or country from which the designer sells their design pieces. Return rights may therefore differ depending on where the creators are located.
In case a buyer wishes to return a design piece, Artekura must be notified by mail to concierge@artekura.com within 3 days after successful delivery and deliver the design piece to the transport provider before the return right expires.
Return shipping costs shall be borne by the purchaser. Artekura will issue a return label and the price of the product(s), except shipping costs, will be refunded to the buyer within 30 days after the designer has received the design piece.
We do not accept returns on custom made items.
Content
Distributing a virus, trojan, worm, logic bomb or other harmful material through Artekura is prohibited.
Artekura is not responsible for any damages resulting from the use of the Website or Artekura's services (including, but not limited to, any direct and indirect damages, or loss of profits or data).
Artekura is responsible for the technical development and maintenance of the www.artekura.com platform. Technical errors may occur, and if they affect the decision to purchase a design piece, Artekura is responsible for correcting them. The website www.artekura.com or parts of it, may be unavailable at any time or for any period.
Anyone can register a user account on Artekura with a valid email address or Facebook account. Registration is free and does not imply an obligation to purchase any items. Users are asked to provide personal information, which must be truthful. It is not allowed to use fake or unused contact details, such as email address, name and photo. Artekura reserves the right to cancel member accounts or delete content.
Designers, curators and users must not upload any content that violates our policy, any laws or ethical standards; including but not limited to copyrighted, violent, pornographic, offensive, aggressive, racist or sexist content.
